Bolivia to give Nature Human Rights

Evo Morales the President of Bolivia is about to pass a historical new law that will give Nature Human Rights. The law described by Vice-President Alvaro García Linera as “establishing a new relationship between man and nature” is called The Law of Mother Nature.

The new law grounded in indigenous Andean beliefs will make humans equal to all other living organisms. The new 11 rights will give nature, the right to live, the right to pure water and clean air, and the right to not have its cellular structure genetically modified.

It is unknown as of yet how the law will be enforced but with the increasing fear and little action done in combating global warming, this law is a huge step for all. Other countries around the world should take heed and implement this or something similar in their own country.
